EPCTC is moving!!

Please be aware that East Pennine Cytology Training Centre is moving.

As of 23rd October 2015, EPCTC will no longer be in residence at Raynham House, LS27 0WH

In due course we will be opening a new centre close to Junction 40 M1, Wakefield, WF5 9TT, however, it will be a few months before the internal construction of the new facilities are complete.

Therefore there will be a period of time between 23rd October 2015 and approximately early March 2016 where the team will be operating remotely in order to maintain as much business continuity as is possible.

Please bear with us during these difficult months ahead, but rest assured that the staff will always be doing everything they can to assist you with your training requirements, queries or concerns.

The address and telephone numbers remain the same at this time.

East Pennine Cytology Training Centre

With a catchment area stretching the length and breadth of the eastern side of the Pennine Way, the East Pennine Cytology Training Centre is the creation emerging from a successful unification of the former Sheffield Cytology Training Centre and the Northern & Yorkshire Cytology Training School.

Supported by service level agreements with Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, the NHS Foundation Trust, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and overseen by a Management Board, the training centre aims to become the backbone of cytology training, creating and maintaining a centre of excellence.

NHS Cervical Screening Programme Workforce

The principal role of the East Pennine Cytology Training Centre (EPCTC) is to ensure the development of the NHS Cervical Screening Programme workforce, through the promotion of a range of high quality training initiatives and courses.
